Opened in 1991 Lauro Golf is situated in the Sierra de Mijas. A beautiful area with rather gentle slopes land inwards between Malaga and Torremolinos.

The Italian designer Folco Nardi designed the course. An original feature of this very active golf course is that each hole is named after a bullfighter! It has all characteristics of a Spanish parkland course with its orange,
lemon and olive trees. Especially the olive trees can cause some awkward ball positions if you are not accurate

enough. For those among us who are terrified by water hazards, be aware!
An extra 9 holes on the other side of the C-344 opened in 2002.

The clubhouse is established in a 200-year-old cortijo (Andalucian Farmhouse). Lauro Golf is located west of Alhaurin de la Torre towards Alhaurin el Grande.
