Being part of the Miraflores Urbanization this course, designed by Falco Nardi is located in the hills 2 kilometers from the N340 between Marbella and Fuengirola near Mijas Costa. The course, which opened in 1990, provides some excellent views from both the course and the clubhouse.

Although Miraflores looks appears to be a hilly course the fairways follow the natural slopes of the valleys. Miraflores offers excellent other facilities like tennis, horse riding, bowls, and a snooker room.
