Villamartin is probably one of the best known Golf Courses on the Costa Blanca. Since 1972 fine villas, townhouses and apartments were built around the Golf Course making for a quality way of life encircled by greens.

The 18-hole championship course has hosted the Mediterranean open as well as many other prestigious competitions, however buying a property here is not as expensive or limited as you might expect. The clubhouse has its own seperate bars and restaurants, one of which is beside a large picturesque pool where numerous dinner dances are held on very frequent warm nights.

The nightlife in the area is well known throughout the coastline and draws upon the locality to form an international meeting place for people looking for a good nights entertainment, most of the centres attractions are hosted outdoors almost 365 days of the year, making the most of the areas good weather. Villamartin lays approximately 3km from the beaches and 10km South of Torrevieja on the N332.

The journey to the Airport of Alicante takes around 40 minutes. The splendid beaches of La Zenia, Campoamor , and Cabo Roig are all approximately 5 minutes away by car.

Villamartin has a large international community, living permanently in Spain or simply visiting for the Golf Season. Not all inhabitants of Villamartin are golf fanatics and they simply enjoy gazing over the splendid green well maintained urbanisation areas.
